We are very fortunate to have a small back yard vegetable garden of our own, one that we’re slowly learning to use at full potential. Many of our friends however are avid users of various community gardens around town, and when any of them leave the city for a few days, they have a bounty of produce tgat might otherwise go yo waste!
How lucky are we, with a reputation for being culinarians, to receive much of the spoils of this over-stock! Certainly none of it will go to waste at our place, and the menu plan takes a wonderful shift towards all sorts of organic garden fresh delights … thank goodness for community gardens!
