Anyone For Chicken Brochette?
This Monday our menu plan called for the following.
Protein: Chicken
Vegetable: Peas
Side: Basmati
The end result was a tasty combo of chicken brochette roasted until tender and golden along with turmeric basmati and buttered peas. Definitely a simple meal but also very kid-friendly.
Although I admit the peas came out of a can, it came about as a real craving and they really hit the spot. As for basmati, it’s nearly impossible to go wrong with this delicious rice, so why not add a little colour for fun!
